It appears to be in very good condition. The only thing I noticed was the propeller looked a little dinged up at its ends. But no major dents or anything.

  1. boats are very tricky... try to take a boat mechanic with you... they my seem alright to me and you but they could have long term damage..

  2. just test drive it  listen to the engine  check the sterring   use the tilt and trim  look at all the gauges  does it have a temp gauge?   let it idle than give it gas  check the botom of the hull for water   also you can drain the lower unit oil and see if its oil or cream color  if its cream you have a bad seal int the lower unit

  3. Feel and look for cracks and for bulging or swelling around where the motor is on the transom.

Aluminum boats are usually pretty troublefree.

Dinged propellers are very common. The make them with shear pins or shearable hubs so that they fall off before you hit them against anything hard enough to damage the motor.
