  1. it does NOT go in your antenna socket - its for hooking up dvds etc so you can watchin HD or near HD.

  2. paper, also don't buy your cable from stores like Best Buy or Circuit City, they are way way overpriced  (especially Monster brand)  go to a site like Monoprice.com or Bluejeancables.com or Partsexpress.com and you can buy a six foot HDMI cable that is just as good as Monster for 4.00/ea if you can't wait, Wal-Mart sells a Phillips brand for 20.00 unlike 100.00 at Best Buy.

  3. HD DVD, Blu Ray, DVD upscaler to HD, XBOX 360, PS3..  Every single on of these has a HDMI output.  I'm pretty sure some of the better cable services have HDMI output, especially if they offer a HD package.  If you have more than one HDMI source, they sell HDMI switchers that lets you plug them all in and flip a switch to select which one you want to use.(some of the higher end ones even work by remote)  Don't worry about spending the big bucks on the cables, look for a good deal, same as always they are trying to sell you on all these fancy features when they all work basically the same.

  4. Your cable or satellite box, or DVD, whichever normally feeds your TV with a signal (and has anHDMI socket on the back of it too).
