  1. You can buy a few cans of scotchguard and do it yourself. They are about $6 a can. Follow the directions and you should be fine. Don't let them make $100 extra.

  2. Chicagirl is correct as most good upholstery fabric already has this but if you have a large family with alot of children, it doesn't hurt to Scotchguard it for extra protection to set your mind at ease and it's easy enough to do yourself at home.

  3. Yes , it does help. My boy friend is a carpet and furniture cleaner. The problem is I am not sure how long it last. You would probably have to scotch guard it yourself later, so you should just buy your own and do it yourself. I am sure it is a lot cheaper.

  4. l'm not sure how much protection that offers.  Have you considered buying a couple of cans of Scotchguard and doing it yourself?

  5. When my mother brought two new recliners she paid extra for the "Fabric Protection" and it was wothless, the recliners  seemed to attract the dirt, So when she got her couch she went and bought some Scotch-Gard and it worked like a charm. Save your money do it yourself.
