The land I am buying has a trailor on it and since I live in Florida I worry about hurricanes. I would like to build a concrete home on the property and would like to use the trailor as a trade in. Is this possible, or should I just sell the trailor to an individual?

  1. I can't think of a situation where you would be able to trade it in.

Selling it out right is your best option. Depending on how old it is will determine if anyone will even attempt it. It is very expensive to move them so people buying it have to take that into consideration.

    Good luck

  2. Doubtful you will find anyone to do a trade-in. Just sell it yourself.

  3. You should sell it on your own. Trading it in will not make you as much money. Also an individual will pay up more...usually for a trailer then a dealer. Even car dealerships work that way. They try to get you to trade it in for as cheap as possible so when they go to sell it the price is reasonable and they make a profit. Hope that helped you out!
