A lot of cabin crew "commute" to London Heathrow from other countries in order to operate a flight and then fly back to the countries where they live. I will therefore be living in the US but work in the UK. I will be going in and out of the country at least 3 times a month and I will not need a work visa for the US as I will still be employed by BA. Can I do that legally?

  1. Yes. with a Visa.

Being employed by a foreign country, and being a UK citizen, you will not have to have a work visa, just a legal resident alien visa  to be able to legally stay in the US for extended periods of time.

Or you can just "vacation " for 6months or less at a time..

Call up the local us embassy in UK, or try a local county office .. they should be able to help..

  2. Yep, this is perfectly fine.  And if you have a UK passport, you don't need a visa.

  3. Sure you can do that :)
