I am catholic..but what if i...?

So yes, i am catholic but not from choice. Is this okay in the eye of god and people if i obey my parents and pretend im catholic because 1) I want to be just plain Cristian and just love god 2) is it bad not to confess a moral sin to a priest but do it the cristian way even tho your saying your catholic because you go to a catholic church and just confess your sins to god himself. 3) go through with with being confirmed because you have 2...you have no choice...i need help!

Guest1190  If you don't want to be Catholic then don't be. I don't think your parentswould be too worried if you were Catholic or not. Since they didn't bother to teach you the faith properly in the first place.

Guest4536. Yes the Church is rigid. Because it cannot change any law set down by God. AS far as wealth goes. The catholic church is the biggest provider of private education and health care in the world. So there are a lot of people in this world who are glad it has some money.
