I want to spend under £500 - and ideally want it to be hot, although I am open to suggestions for anywhere really different. I want to spend most of the day relaxing/reading - and the evening eating nice food and drinking.

  1. Spain (Andalucia) is amazing for that kind of thing. It may not be really hot in march but you could hire a house in the Sierra Nevada mountains, eat loads of nice ham (if you're not veggie) and cheese, drink really cheap red wine, have great views of the amazing night sky!! I wanna go back right now!  It's very cheap too! Fly to Malaga (but don't hang around Malaga any longer than you have to), get a hire car and hit the open road.  Happy Birthday for March!

  2. I'd say either Cork or Galway in Ireland, but Galway can be very wet but is just so enjoyable, lots to do and see definitley has great food.

The same in Cork(not quite as wet though), it's big enough to give you great choice but not so big that you feel lost in the crowd and you'd find your way around really easily

  3. can i com with u?? plz plz plz

  4. I went to Budapest, hungary and was surprise at how metropolitian it was as a city-I would never have thought to go there, but would go back - quite like Paris - I went last year in Oct and it was quite warm - architecture is beautiful, lots to see and do, lovely river central city - very easy to get arround, people were friendly. Lots of restaurants and bars and very cheap.

Hot in March for £500 though you're looking at the likes of the Canary Islands - lived in Tenerife 2 years - weather will be hot (though can have clouds) lots of bars and restaurants - I'd recommend the Bahia del duque for restaurant for the big day - 5 star hotel, with very good lots of restaurants in - close to the nicest beach in the south island - you could also drive to the north of the island which is very different to the south - very lucious green much more traditional/Spanish, North Africa - I've been to Eygpt - the only problem I'd say is you're a bit confide to the resorts, though it's cheap and will be very hot - at night the wind is like a hairdrier hitting you, the pool water like bath water (as in really warm),  the sky blanketed with stars and most nights belly dancing ladies. I think the south of Italy would be very pretty (have never been) - places like cyprus/ corfu would probably be quite hot and inexpensive.

I'm celebrating my 30th in 2 weeks - am opting for Edinburgh and the highlands - no chance for a bikini for me lol. Hope you have a wonderful time whatever you do ;-)

  5. plenty of adverts to spain or malaga by easyjet for about £50 then buy cheap bed and breakfast hotel.

  6. go to indoniesa and give your birthday money to all the poor and needy down there.

theres no better feeling like helping other people on the one day you feel great.

    ohh  what a rush

  7. las vegas :)

  8. Phuket, Thailand or Cape Town, South Africa (or even the Kruger park by the wildlife-- it's really hot!!) Your exchange rate with pounds is VERY worthwhile in these 2 countries... and these two places are absolutely beautiful!!!

  9. Florida

  10. Dublin. The atmosphere is soooo totally diferent to anywhere else in the world. Great eating & drinking, Fab atmosphere. Really friendly people and generally a super place to be. The hotels are reasonable as is the entertainment. Lots of different clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from and not to far to travel.

  11. i think greece is unbeatable. you can get something really good value if you avoid the school holidays. i have been to four islands all beautiful, crete being my fave as yet. Santorini is picturesque, its perfect, have a look in the greek island brochures. the weather will be picking up up by march too.

  12. italy

  13. The Costa Del Sol in Spain is really a good place to go. It is an excellent area for relaxation and activities at a reasonnable cost. Of course if you wish to spend more you can come to the east coast of the United States. There are plenty of beautiful places. Old Miami Beach is really a good place. ( Ocean drive with all of the art deco hotels renovated, where you can find everything you wish. Search on the internet for Miami Beach, Florida and you'll find pictures of it and hotel reservations, etc...I would recommend it greatly. And being a native of the month of March, you would enjoy the scent of the ocean and the excellent dining places that are good for pisces!.

    Have a beautiful vavation.

  14. Sharm el Sheik in Egypt or Mexico if you can get a good deal
