My truck just reached 100k miles and I am doing a tune up. A few people have told me that buying the spark plugs and wires at the dealership is the only way to go. Supposedly I will get the best performance from the factory a/c delco products but they are expensive. Is there really that much difference?

  1. I disagree with 494 .. Those Bosch plugs actually aren't better, the additional prongs is a marketing ploy. Show me a TRUE high end spark plug that has more than one point? There are none. Plus the Bosch will only last you about 20k miles, where as you can go at least 75k on the AC Delco.
