I am collecting social security and I am married to a non U S citizen and would like to know if she too can collect social security benefits because she married to me, a U S citizen, living abroad.

sure why Not? she has NOT paid into it but obviously just by asking the question you feel entitled to more that you deserve.

no, because she has no legal status in the u.s.  if this was the case i am sure a lot of sinlge or widowed retirees would move out of the u.s. to marry someone, just to double their income.

Doubt it. Does she have a legit SS#? Did she work and pay into the system in the US for 10 years? If not,she isn't entitled to SS.
