I am concerned about what to do with our old videotapes, as i do not want them to wind up in a landfill !?

- I want to dispose of these old video tapes properly.....

and i am concerned that I am not sure if the best way to dispose of all of these old video tapes, is to throw them in the recycle bin ?

What happens to all of these old video tapes, if you do this ?

Will that keep these old video tapes, out of the landfill ?

I have enough old video tapes to make some kind of a large outrageous “art” statement.

I have this dream to find an artist that would help me start an art project.

I would like to find a place to display a large “art thing” made of Old video tapes - This could be done easily by taking all the old videotapes I have and gluing them or melting them together and spelling out, “Love the Earth - Recycle” and then I would just need a place where this art/ recycle project, could be displayed some where.

You can give them away to a veterans home or donate them to a library.  That way, they would have a nice home.
