Ok I am thirteen and growing up comes with some questions

Am I too old for Avatar the last airbender?

I like to be alone is that normal?

I spend most of my time writing and lost in thoughts is that normal.

I like to be in the dark.Normal?

I don't really like to hang out with people.Normal?

I don't care what people think of me at all.I look like c**p most of the time.Normal?

I only have about ten friends.Normal?

I hate my dad.Normal?

I am also thirteen and I'll compare my answers to yours. Not saying your not normal, but just everyone's different. =]

I don't know what that is.

I like being alone when I'm in a mood, but most of the time I like being with friends.

To spend some time writing is fine, but most is a bit much.

Alot of teens like to be "dark". I personally outgrew that already.

I lvoe hanging out with people. At least once a week you should.

That's a good thing. It means you're self assured. I always care how I look haha.

Ten friends is good if they are close to you. One good friend if better then 10 aquaintences. I eprsonally have more than ten, but everyones different as i said.

I hate my dad too, he's a jerk off.

You are fine. Just a bit more reserved or shy. You will probably become more outgoing as you get older. =]

wow, except for the avatar thing your... me. I'm sixteen now and I am starting to dress better and I am more social. I also like to spend a lot of time in my head and write, which I think are wo things that go hand in hand, but I am making more effort to go out and do stuff. The fact is that you will change over time, like most of us do. I would just try to reccomend trying to be more social simply because they say its good for you, and it feels good. Not to metion the fact that your going through puperty, that will really mess with you for the next couple of years and contribute to that chage. Hope this helps. :)

hun its completely normal!! i loved writing down all my thoughts through poetry and so on.. you may hate your dad but listen.. when you start dating and stuff.. listen to what he says about guys.. he knows what hes talking about.. you're just learning who you are in the inside.. and thats the best part of growing up.. :) good luck hun!!!

yes this is all NORMAL. its all part of the process of puberty and growing up.  endure it and it will get better. however, as u get a little older, u will care more abt ur looks and what other ppl think of u. i never cared abt how i looked, but once i got to 8th grade, everything like that suddenly matters. i wanted to fit in. i also got a bf LOL. but here's some advice: dont give in to peer pressure.

Lol. im 14 i watch avatar sometimes. i like being alone. same with the writing. love the dark. ehhh hangin out with people is okay sometimes. dont really care what people think of me. have about 4 best friends and 5 or 6 others. I hate my stepdad and my dad. so i would say it was normal. ;]

Im 17 and I still watch cartoons. I think its alright to watch whatever you want.
