  1. Speed accuracy and a great smile, remember it is Blackjack, not Pure maths.

Anybody can do it. You will be fully trained in the game and it will become second nature to you.

  2. It's actually pretty easy. The hardest part is controlling your temper. People are going to say all kinds of c**p to you and many casino won't back you up and if you talk back to them you will get fired.

You can get a job right out of school with only blackjack at what we call a "break in joint". These are small casino that will take you with no experience. The pay will suck but as you get experience and learn more games you will be able to get better jobs.

After 3 to 5 years of dealing you could expect to get a job that pays 60k to 80k per year. This is based on Las Vegas.

  3. $350 is chump change. If you ever get a job you'll make it back on your first check so it's certainly worth the investment. The only people who should not bother trying to be a dealer are people with criminal records and/or bad credit. Otherwise, it's an easy job and not particularly difficult to find work if you live somewhere like here (Vegas) or AC.
