I am currently living in Southern California and I hate it!! I do think that I might want to settle somewhere in the western part of Canada. I like the mountains and I like to mountain bike. I dream about living somewhere where it is lush and green. I plan to go to school and get a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Any recommendations and advice will be appreciated!

  1. Vancouver or any part of coastal BC including Vancouver Island. Lush and green it is, though keep in mind that's because we get a fair amount of rain. Summer, however, is usually pretty dry, but not really hot. Lots of mountains, and they're easy to get to. You can bike all year long if you don't mind getting wet sometimes. The interior parts of BC are colder in winter, very hot in summer, don't get a lot of rain, still have lots of mountains.

  2. Near Vancouver is a magnificent mountain lodging town called Whistler, it is is EXACTLY what you may be looking for in terms of Mountainous Terrain.

If not Whistler,  try Banff or Jasper in the Canadian Rockies in Alberta.

  3. Kelowna is gorgeous... Yes I am biased since I do live here. Tons of mountain biking areas. Kettle Valley Tressels which have a beautiful view of the city. We have sandy beaches... And we have mountains for snowboarding in the winter... And HOT summers!

  4. Canada has a lot of good looking ladies. Try Winnepeq something is in the water. A lot of fine ladies!!!

  5. i think it would be cool to move to ontario,

it's pretty much where all the action is you know?

and it's only minutes away from peace and quiet, great location

    good luck with your move!

  6. vancouver  has mountains  beaches  a mild climate.More rain than calif.   If you like the out doors start packing  >>Medicare for all free hospital  Go to hellobc And tourismvancouver

  7. Don't know if you are crazy about the coast, but the Vancouver area would fit all your needs. The interior of BC is beautiful, too. Kamloops, Kelowna areas, but I don't know what kinds of schools they have there. Calgary is great, but not very lush and green, though the mountains are under an hour away. Take a trip first to see if you like the cities. They each have a unique flavour. Good luck
