I am considering moving to Charlotte NC.?

We are thinking about moving our family out of DC and down to Charlotte NC. We are considering apartment or single family home rentals. What are the nicest suburban area's to live in and what are the dumpy parts of town we should avoid? How is the public transportation system down there?

I hace never lived in North Carolina, but a few years ago, NC was ranked among the top 10 places to live in this country and it was Charlotte.  NC is 100 times better than Washington D.C. as well as Cleveland.  Good luck in whatever you decide and I am almost certain you will not regret it
