to charge? I'm looking for advice on how to go about opening my own daycare. I want to be a stay at home mom. My mom was a stay at home mom and she babysat and did well with it but she wasn't licensed or anything. I want to have an actual business. Any ideas??

  1. Usually around $25-$30 per child per day is fair. Price can vary due to demographics in your area. You can apply for a business license which is going to be a few hundred to a thousand dollars and then you can get started. Keep in mind of all the supplies and space that you will need before you start this daycare. Best of luck to you.
