I am contemplating organizing an Autism benefit concert... Where do I start?

I have some pretty big visions for an Autism benefit concert, to help not only raise awareness for this disability but also contribute all proceeds to research. It is my goal to gain massive corporate sponsorship and possibly national awareness of the event. Any idea's on getting the ball rolling on this?
