I'm curious about the value of a coin I have had for at least 6 years. It may have no value whatsoever but It is very interesting. Basically, the coin is both a penny and a dime at the same time. The dime is encased halfway by a copper coated penny (lincoln's head). When flipped over, one side of the coin looks like a penny while the other could pose as a dime with a thin rim of copper.

If anyone can give an estimate or even drill it into my head that the coin is worth nothing, (other than 1 cent or 10 cents :D ) I'd appreciate it!

  1. You have a magicians coin. The cent was hollowed out so the dime would fit in. It is used for magic tricks. It is a novelty and can be bought at magic stores. I am not sure of their cost these days but some magicians make their own. It has no numismatic value. It is however an interesting conversation piece.

  2. Mess ups like that can de worth a lot ask a specialist. There was a mess up with this one coin and it was worth over 1 Thousand each.

  3. 1,000,000,000 dollers to priceless absoluty too much
