I am in yr 11 and am in the process of my final gcse examinations. I think I have done allright so far and havnt found any of the papers very difficult but my parents are expecting all A*s and nothing below an A grade.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me found thier gcses in the last few years and how they coped with worrying about the results.

Did you think you did bad in the exams but got good grades or did you get good grades because you found the paper easy??

Thanks for any help :]

  1. I think your parents are being ridiculous expecting all A*s

thats too much pressure! What exam grades did they achieve at school i wonder?

  2. Same here, except my parents think that I will do badly and its only me wanting all A*s.

I definitely think that exams I find a bit tricky end with better results than the ones I find easy. That's just from my experience. I seem to work harder in more difficult ones.

I'm not really worrying about the results because the exams are done, there is nothing more I can do (except for physics french and business studies - not over yet)

Good luck anyway...I am sure you'll get into sixth form
