I am currently enlisted. What should I do to work with Military Working Dogs?

I am currently in the USAF and I am interested in working with Military Working Dogs. I am however in a maintenance career field at the moment. What course of action should I take to get to my goal? I know it takes up to 5 years but I am unsure of where to even start.

You would have to cross train into Security Forces when you reenlist.

Then after a couple of year, ask to go to the Dog Handler Course.
