  1. I currently have two different HDMI cables that I bought when they were on sale (one for $15 - Rocketfish and one for $25 - Belkin pure AV).  Both work very well.

Bottom line...look for sales and don't be sucked into the hype of $100 cables.

  2. Depending on specifically what I'm looking for and shipping costs etc, here are three sites that I use for all my cable needs.

  3. dont buy those overpriced cables, go to monoprice.com very good quality and very affordable.

  4. audioquest it is copper coated with silver a wonderfull cable. i believe is is supeior to monster....325.00

  5. I'm sure if you look around you can find a cable costing several hundred dollars, but for most purposes it won't work any better than a $10 budget cable.

    See the link below.

If after reading it you want a better than budget cable I suggest Blue Jean Cables as a source of high quality, yet reasonable priced cables.

  6. Get the cheapest cable available!  As long as the cable is physically sound (connectors sturdy, shielding intact), there is no reason to buy expensive cables for a digital signal.  The transmission of a digital signal either makes it or it doesn't.  If you see a picture and hear the audio, everything you can possibly get is there.

Save your money for the analog cables you will need.
