I am currently on my 2nd day of taking CHANTIX... looking for some input or opinions?

My doctor prescribed me Chantix, but he didn't give me any instructions, just said it helps people quit smoking, as simple as that. Is there any plan I need to stick to? I know there is a Chantix web site with helpful info, but I'm looking for everyday people's opinions. ALSO, big part of my question, WHEN will you begin to notice (if anything) that the pills are working or changing you? Anyone notice anything I can be on the look out for? Thank you for your time!

  1. Call your pharmacist. Seriously. They can tell you the specifics of the drug. Your doctor is a tool. He/she should have been more responsible than that given some of the bad side effects associated with Chantix.

Go to Walgreens of CVS and talk to a pharmacist, seriously, it is your best bet. Chances are they know a h**l of a lot more about your dosage and your perscription than anyone else here. It is free as well.

Or, call your doctor and make them do their job. I hate when physicians don't follow through correctly.
