I am deaf. Is it weird?

I am dear in my left ear and a little bit in my right ear. Is it weird? Please don't just say that it's not weird because I am deaf. Please tell me the truth.

It's not weird; everyone has some sort of idiosyncrasy. It's not normal, most people are hearing, but that doesn't make it weird.

In today's society, being deaf is nothing. You're lucky you can still hear a little though. :) There are worse things than being deaf, but if you still have a little hearing, you should try getting a hearing aid. Being deaf or blind, is DIFFERENT, but it's not weird. There are far too many other oddities in the world than losing a sense. :)

No that is not weird. I hate it that kids are so mean and cruel to others who they think are 'different'.

My grandson is 'almost' legally blind and although he can see, he is colorblind and has rod cone dystrophy. He had to wear glasses that were 'weird' to the other kids and they always picked on him.

Not to mention that the teachers would not help him like they were suppose to.

Anyway, he finally got to attend a blind school and NO ONE makes fun of him there, in fact since he is the only one who CAN see, the other kids look up to him.

no way! being deaf is sooo not weird! there is a girl in my class and she is deaf but she is the most popular kid in like half the skool!

i dont believe wat other people think about deaf people!

(and by the way i think long hair is seriously nice! dont cut it! :D)

no. i don't really think it's weird because many people who aren't deaf use their big ears the wrong way, like searching for gossips, eavesdropping, etcetera, etc.

anyway. you're just a little bit deaf on the right.

so i guess you could still hear a little.

technology is so advanced a second after the other, so there are lots of things to make your hearing easier.

never let your "being deaf" intimidate you.

your god has a plan.

Being deaf doesnt change who you are and what you are like it just changes your ability to hear

i have kids at my school who are deaf and most of them are alright theres nothing wrong with being def you were just unlucky.

hmm nah not at all really ive seen a def girl be4 in person they do talk kinda weird but i can understand tho i actually had one had my ears clogged with water for being in the pool to long and you cant hear what your saying im guess its sorda the same i wouldnt really know. but as long as you can communicate then ur all good
