I am deciding to buy a vizio but just saw the insignia. what should i look for between this two brands.?

Look at them and see which one looks better.  Also check the consumer reviews on the specific model you're considering.  I don't know about you, but shopping at Costco I've seen more people standing in line returning Vizio's than any other tv.  Consumer reviews will let you know if there's a design flaw in that particular model.  Don't know too much about the insignia.  Try seeing which one has the higher contrast ratio and the lower response time.  Also look at the screen and see if there's any "bleeding" of colors (where a moving image on the screen leaves a short trail or shadow of color behind it because the pixels can't change color fast enough).  Price is important, but you don't want to waste your money on something you won't be happy with in the long run.

vizios are made from refurb parts,  and the insignias us lLG parts.  compare the two on a sales floor.

The "bleeding" that the other person is talking about is also known as ghosting.

Go with Insignia. Its a Best Buy brand. Thats why its cheaper, because best buy doesnt have to pay for company names and it comes right from there wear-house.

BUT make sure you get a CLEAN POWER SOURCE and the 4-yr in home service plan on the TV. And you'll be fine.

If u think the service plan is to exspensive save your money untill u can afford it bc it will save u money in the long run
