  1. It was unfortunately ESad's spotters fault.  At least thats my opinion.

  2. Sadler

  3. unfortunately Sadler, but what was Denny Hamlin's spotter doing while he was blowing full steam ahead into half of the field?

  4. well sadler was going down the track to block gilliland but gilliland was already beside sadler and sadler didnt see gilliland there so sadler got turned around. so sadlers fault.

  5. Like the person above me said - Sadler's spotter.

  6. i am biased too, and would love to blame everything on gilliland, because i think the boy was brought up too soon and simply because he managed to win one nationwide series race last year.

not only that, most wrecks and/or near wrecks out there yesterday, he was somehow involved.  and over the past year or more, he has been involved in more on-track stupidity (in terms of driving) than anyone else.  heck, he even made the unflappable matt kenseth so mad, kenseth rammed him from behind, earning himself a penalty just a few weeks back.

but try as i might, i can't blame gilliland this time.

it just looked like one of those racing deals - one where spotters weren't in good enough communication with their drivers.  i don't think either one of them wanted to even be pushing that so few laps into the race.

    so, neither.

  7. dont care for the 38 but the 19 came down

  8. i'm confused. you're saying you saw the wreck coming watching it live, but at the time of the wreck, the TV image was on an in car angle in elliot sadlers car, looking out of his windshield. so you couldn't possibly have seen gilliland coming, except for on the ensuing replays

  9. Sadler came down on Gillilands nose, its easy to see in the replay, but usually (lyk on ESPN) they didnt show that part and made Gilliland look at fault

  10. SADLER. Even the announcers said he came down on Gilliland! Honestly I have never had a problem with Sadler until this year. This is the second time this year he has done something stupid that has taken out my man TONY STEWART. I mean even Tony knows it did you hear what he said in his interview after the wreck?

"I take 100 percent responsibility -- it's my fault for being anywhere close to Elliott [Sadler]," a frustrated Stewart said as his crew was forced to stop work when the red flag was displayed so officials could clean up the wreckage and spilt fluids. "If I'm within half a lap of him, I expect that to happen.-Tony Stewart

  11. It showed the replay and the radio transmission between the spotter and Sadler and the spotter never said anything until they actually made contact.

Once someone has the nose of their car under you it is their territory. Sadler should have moved up the track a little.

Do they have left side mirrors? I know they can't see behind them because of the rear wing. They need a mirror on the left front windshield post or either a camera screen on the dash that allows them to view how close a car is behind them. The spotter may have not had enough time to react to Sadler coming down because it was at the last second  they made contact. Hard call........!!!

  12. both

  13. Sadler/Sadler's spotter share the blame.  He said it himself..he was worrying about the 77.  Didn't know the 38 was there...you have to be more aware than that and/or your spotter has to keep you more aware than that.

  14. I agree Sadler's spotter should have said car low, but didn't say a word. Gilliland was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  15. Sadler's spotter should have spoke up. Gilliland probably also seen him coming down, and that early in the race theren eeds to be a lot of give and take. Gilliland should have let up so Sadler could clear him.

  16. I blame Sadler's spotter, the whole thing sucked and took my guy with them. I guess that's racing huh?

  17. I think it was Elliot Sadlers spotters fault. He didn't tell him he was down there until it was too late. I was listening to it.

  18. I'm biased to, I blame Gilliland, this guy has been getting in the way recently, to bad he was able to finish the race..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  19. Sadler... doesn't he cause most of them?  Oh no, that's Juan Pablo... =)

  20. I say Gilliland should have lifted, especially at that point in the race. Yes Sadler came down on him a little but the 38 should have been more forgiving.

  21. Sadler came down on Gilliland.

  22. Sadler came down on Gilliland.  Thought he would clear him and didn't.  I felt bad for Sadler he had a pretty good car, I thought he may have been in contention for a top 10!

  23. sadler but he wiggled didnt he. it wuz just the turns, not rele him. dover is a hard track.

  24. The Track was at fault.
