I am depressed and don't know why?

it could be because the girl i liked got a new boyfriend or i just don't work as much as i used to so i am lonely or i dont know as many people as i used to. how do i get undepressed?

Sounds to me like you are in a bit of dilemma about why you are here, and what your purpose is to living.

You need to know that you HAVE been created for a reason, that you have talents and abilities that no one else has that are just like yours. No one else is like you and you are unique.

Don't swallow the lie that you need to achieve and be needed all the time to be someone. Maybe it is a good time to get to know yourself and start doing activities you have wanted to but were afraid to try just in case you fail. Even trying something for a week or so can be long enough to know if it is you or not. Find out WHO YOU ARE....not just what you do.

Being able to be around yourself, without others is a very healthy thing to learn, especially if you are afraid of lonliness.

Depression can come onto a person without them having a real reason or they have a reason and don't know what causes it.. also constant emotional stress can lead to depression... one usually knows when one is depressed.. then one should get help if distraction does not keep it at bay.. see a doctor...  the depression stays as long as the stressor which causes the depression  is a part of your life.. once you can let go of that.. the depression should fade away.. but you need medical help and advice from your doctor.. he will be able to answer your questions at more depth and also help you decide what might be best in your case...

You seem to be the peoples' type.. meaning you feel better when you get social with people.. the best thing you can do right now is try to make new friends and talk to them a lot, share your common interests with people with the same interests, Good Luck and God Bless!.. and remember you are never lonely!
