first thing is, from which state you belongs..

On your state there will be a exam conducted by ur state govt.(jee)..

Through that u can join in lateral entry (directly in 2nd year)..

Note that u r from metallugy branch.so that ,this branch has limited seat.i think that only on govt. college.so try for ur jee exam...Further details contact me on my [e-mail]
