  1. auto CAD

  2. Auto CAD

    UGNX

  3. *Basically it depends upon your interest of field.I mean design, maintenance rather engineering services, production planning, marketing and many more.

*If I consider you a computer literate, then 1st of all understand the basics of Engineering Drawing.

Drawing is a language of Engineering.

    My preference would be:

    1.Auto Cad.

    2.e-Drawing.

    3.Pro-Engineering [Wild-Fire]

    4.PDMS.

5.Chem-Cad.[If you want to work with chemical firm]

    6.MS Project.

    7.ERP-system like SAP.

*All these requires hard work and sincerity.

    Wishing you best luck.

  4. If you are planning to work in an architectural/engineering firm, then AutoCAD will be fine.  But, if you are planning on working in other industries, then learning a full featured 3-D CAD package such as Pro/Engineer or Unigraphics would be beneficial.  Also, some form of programming language such as Matlab would be good as well.
