I am doing a cooking activity for preschooler?

what should i have them clean up and how should i tell them to clean it up , i am mixing stuff like eggs and flour in a bowl to make a cake

Make rice krispie cakes - kids will l**k the bowl and spoon - okay not great manners but there only tiny kiddies.  

You could teach them a song about time to play, time to work and time to tidy up.

"its time to tidy up, tidy up"

clean up our things and tidy up

I like to be messy when i play

but i like to clean up every day"

clean as you go -much easier and keeps everyone busy.   You throw this egg away, you throw this package away, you get the washrag, you wash the table, you stir, etc. etc.  everyone needs a job.  Those who don't have a job can take turns stirring.
