It is not a sand paper because that's also on the list before it. I have call ACE and a fabric store but they dont know exactly what I ask for.

  1. I'm also assuming that it's "wet-dry" sandpaper that's being asked for -- *in addition* perhaps to asking for regular sandpaper.

Wet-dry sandpaper is black rather than brown, and won't fall apart when used with water (regular sandpaper will fall apart).

Wet-dry sandpaper comes in pretty much the same grits as regular sandpaper, but the grits can go up much higher as well (like 2000 grit, etc.) --those grits are are used more for "polishing" certain surfaces than obviously sanding them. The higher grits if you need them can often be found in places like automotive stores, but may also be available in some hardware stores (by the sheet, or in pkgs.)

  2. Wet and dry IS a form of abrasive paper that can be used either wet OR dry.  It comes in various grits and the grit is generally finer than that found on sand paper so it gives a smoother result.
