so what colors do you think would go for a girl, but still has that elmo color into it? I have some elmo decorations right now, so one of the main colors in red, but what other colors would go good with that? Because I am making the cake, I was thinking red, pink, and white, but I don't know what do you think? I am also trying to make bubbles as favors and center pieces for the kids, but I think I need to make them more girly, so any ideas on what I can do to make them more of girl party favors??? Thanks!

  1. Red, pink, and white should be your theme colors. You could make the cake pink with elmo as himself red. I hope the party comes out great.

  2. Don't get so stressed.  She's one, she won't even remember it.  Not much goes with red unless you like loud colours.  Do all Sesame St. colours and make it really bright.

  3. I think you do maybe, red, white, and orange. But make it so that the red stands out the most. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

  4. don't forget about pastel green.

  5. PINK AND RED IS GREAT....I SAY RED BECAUSE THATS ELMO AND PINK B/C IT IS A SOFT GIRL COLOR...AND A LITTLE WHITE HERE AND THERE BUT DONT OVER DO IT...OH YEAH YELLOW WOULD LOOK NICE IN THERE TOO..AND USE DIFFERENT COLOR BUBBLE BOTTLES.PINK FOR GIRLS AND BLUE FOR BOYZ AND YELLOW AS NEUTRAL,,

  6. put some pink ribbons in it, and to make the house more girly get some pink and white baloons saying happy 1st! also in the party favor put a ribbon around the outside and some pink fake easter grass inside!

  7. Take a look at this cake.  It is very feminine, for a little girl, but is obviously Elmo.

Also, I know that this is more of a shower gift for an infant, but look at the color scheme used, again, very girly.

  8. I agree, pink and red look great together.
