what is something i can use to make it seem like there is a stream running through it? (not paint!) something 3d preferably

  1. There is a decoupage medium called Mod Podge, which is readily available at craft stores. You can make a fluid proof channel and add pebbles, sand, twigs, etc., as the base of your stream and pour this acrylic in as the water. It will dry clear. It does take some time to dry however, and I'm not quite sure how you would give it texture if you felt you needed to. It's cool though because if you have the time you can embed things in it so it looks like they're floating, or swimming. It isn't that expensive, you should check it out.

    Dioramas are so cool.


  2. Take white glue. Put some blue paint within the bottle. Mix well and have the glue become your water. You can build up many levels and it will dry into a plastic like substance.
