  1. Anxiety can raise your heart rate quite readily, so before you get too concerned, realize that your physician may have simply wanted to be sure that everything else is okay before issuing you a clean bill of health.

  2. I agree with the above people that it most likely is nothing, but the doctor wanted you to see a cardiologist since he is not trained to deal with the symptoms he discovered. So DO GO TO THE CARDIOLOGIST, and then the cardiologist can for sure tell you that your are FINE and then you will NOT have to WORRY about if he was right or not anymore.

SO GO! and be worry free.

  3. It depends on your symptoms... You need to have more than just a fast heart beat to see if you should be worried or not. For now, don't be worried because at the moment, there is no need to be.

  4. If your hear rate was less than 110 and it is regular and the EKG is normal and you don't have chest pain, then you don't need to worry.

Doctors sometimes use fast heart beat for arrythmias, which need a a heart doctor. Just ask your doctor weather you had an arrythmia or just nervous rapid heart beet.
