  1. The ATM for sure. Check my source.

  2. its bter if u go to a bank in mexico. but theres lots of "casa cambio" all over mexico. its where u go to change mexican money for american or american for mexican. make sure u count the money cause they tend to ripp people off. and once ur in mexico try not to pay anything with americam money because the roun up the peso(mexican money) to 10. and the dollar in mexico is woth more than 10. i think its around 10.79 or something like that. try to find a place with the highest value. for example one place might say dollar 10.67 an another might say dollar 10.80. go for the highest cause u get more for ur dollar.... uhh that was a lot k ope it helps. see ya and have fun.

  3. Pemex stations take US dollars, but the exhange rate may not be the best. ATM or bank.

  4. You get your best rate at the ATM's or the banks.  Your second choice are the cambio exchange huts that used to be on every street corner but are now being phased out.  Take your bank cards and some American cash.

It doesn't matter, because most Pemexs (Pemex is the gov't regulated gas station) along the baja take US currency.  I don't find it a problem when I drive to Cabo.

  5. Just wait til you cross the border and go to a bank or use your ATM card...get best rate that way.
