I am either 6, 7, or 8DPO...Can I test now???

Question

I had a very light AF 7/24/08 - 7/28/08... so then on 7/30 I started getting very slight twinges on my left ovary but wasn't sure what it was then the next day 7/31 the pain got PAINFUL on the same ovary and noticed EWCM that day only then 8/1 the EWCM was gone and the pain was gone from ovary but felt sore like or tender on that side and only felt maybe like a few very small twinges on the same ovary and then it was gone.

When do you think was the day I actually ovulated and if I BD'd late night of 7/31 what do you think are my chances of being preggers?

Also, how many Days Past Ovulation would be the soonest I can test?

(I should wait till I miss my AF but my cycle will be very short this month and I have no idea when that will be.)

you can test, but its probably to soon.  It's best to wait till your missed period.

I read that the earliest you can test is 10dpo, but you should get one of the more sensitive pregnancy tests (you can purchase them online) the ones sold in the stores are 50mIU/mL, you can purchase some online that are 10mIU/mL, the lower the number, the more senstive they are to your hCG levels. I'm 5dpo, so I'm waiting 5 more days! *Crosses fingers!*

That would mean you ovulated VERY quickly after your period, which is rare. If your cycles are normal, you would probably be ovulating sometme between August 4th and August 14th. If you did ovulate, however, you may not be able to get a positive result on a HPT so early. I tested 8dpo ovulation and got a negative, then 5 days later (13dpo) got a positive!

there are test that you can use 5 days berore your missed af. And there are also test online that detect 10-15miu instead of the store bought 50miu. I have bought these and it sais that you can use them as early as 6 to 8 days past ovulations...good luck and baby dust!

i tested positive at 10 dpo, but i was one of he lucky ones to get it that soon, i would wait 4 or 5 days more then test, if negative and still no period do it again in a weeks time
