I am enstalling a stereo system in my girlfriend's SUV and need help with what size subwoofer to put in.?

She drives a 2005 or 2006 ford escape(I know, odd to have a system in that car) but I am going to do it for the h**l of it. Should I run two, ten inch MTX subs or one, twelve inch MTX and to a amp with how many watts?(I was thinking do two, ten's with a 800 watt or a thousand watt amp.) Please help me!

here sense your have your mind around mtx i can help you with this. now it might seem hard to do but you would want to amps one for each sub but if thats too much for your style then you can go with 1 amp but it cant be mtx because mtx cost to much for even a thousand watt so i suggest a hifonics 1000watt amp very  good price. ill give you all the links.
