I am entering a PAGEANT and I have NO SPONSORS??

Question

so this will be my first pageant and i have no sponsors but i am desperate for money. any ideas as to what i can do? or what the best way is to approach prospective sponsors?

i don't really no anyone :(

as i told another young lady:

the sponsors:

get with the pageant director and ask if they have sponsor letters (or examples of some) that you can get your hands on. these are great when asking businesses for assistance. they know that you mean business :) when asking businesses for assistance, dont just aim for money. ask, but dont make it the only option for sponsorship. most will be more inclined to assist with product or advertising than they would with monetary donations. if they are willing to donate gift certificates or products, you can use these as raffle prizes and your money would come from the sale of raffle tickets.  also, you can set up a web page for yourself (like mine...the adderss is below) and have people make donations online.

be sure and check out my website in the near future. i will be changing the format of it to highlight the "consultation tips" and my own national pageant system that will  have its first crowning in 2009!
