Seems as if you should try and come up with a funny idea first before you even consider a contest. Do you think it would be all right to take someone's funny idea and draw it and then if you win, take the credit?

I guess this is for ratemydrawings, so I am not sure whether to help or not :)

You could have a look here http://www.thinkdraw.com/gallery.php it is a site with really easy to make pictures, but some of them are funny.

Also have you tried searching for pictures tagged funny on sites like Flickr and istockphoto to get ideas.
