I am excessively loosing time. Sometimes even days. Worst thing is that, I don't have time to waste. ?

I'm loosing time in internet and in tv, and I sometimes realize it only at night, when day is over. How do you organize time?

  1. Loss of time is usually due to loss of motivation. You're goals and priorities are not in place, so you tend to drift away in the internet.

    A good thing you can do is right down your goals. What you want to accomplish. The act of writing things down on a piece of paper make them more meaningful, and you will be more successful at actually accomplishing what you've wrote.

    Another thing I say would be to set times on your phone or other organization devices. Make alarms go off to let you know that you have something to do.

    One simple solution, every morning, write a list of everything you must and also you want to get done that day.  Then rewrite the list in the order of priority.  1 is the most important item, 2 the next in importance. Include some free time, fun time, entertainment, internet or TV.  But put that last on the list.  Tell yourself you cannot do the recreation items until you take care of priorities.

    Also, think about what you want to accomplish with your time and your life.  Your time is your life.  What's important to you?  And, how important it is to you? Really?

    And, remember, you will never get this time back.  It's a great feeling in the evening to realize you have been productive, have used your time well.

Jonathon, you may be an obsessive person.  Not necessarily an obsessive compulsive, but just someone with unusual fixations on tasks at hand.  Another possibility is that you are specifically talking about internet, which can and is a real addiction in our society.  Try to turn off your Internet for a week, and limited your TV to a hour in the evenings.  If you find this is impossible, then you know what is wrong.  Do not replace TV time with Game-box time, either.  If you find you have a genuine addiction to internet check out the site below.
