I have an extremely high prescription with slight astigmatism. Should I go ahead and look into solutions such as Visian ICL, or should I wait until their TICL lenses for astigmatism are FDA approved? Can anyone from other countries tell me their experiences with astigmatism-correcting implants either from STAAR or from other manufacturers?

My prescription:

-18 x -.5 x 60

-16.5 x -2 x 100

  1. I can't really answer this question myself, but I found a website that may help you out with this decision.

The person on this site also had a high prescription, but not as high as yours.

    Good Luck!
