The Liverpool FC manager is content with his side’s brilliant performance at home against Zenit St. Petersburg in the second-leg of the UEFA Europa League

Brendan Rodgers admitted that the players gave their all in the game and insisted that he is proud of the display. The manager hailed the effort and is happy with the progress the team is showing in the last two weeks. He added

that it was unfortunate and Carragher should not be blamed for the mistake.
“There's no blame. It's probably the first mistake I've seen him make since I've been at the football club and that includes every day in training,” he concluded.
Liverpool will next face Wigan at the DW Stadium on March 2 in an English Premier League fixture. The team will be looking to continue with the sensational from to gun for a top-four place at the end of the season.
