or just put HR and refernce the position you're referring to

You need to call the co. you're faxing it to and ask, "Is there anyone in particular I should put attention to?"  They will tell you.  Sometimes, you just leave that spot blank.  But I would recommend checking so the person receiving the fax doesn't think it's junk and throws it away.

Who did you talk to?  If this is a blind ad out of the paper, simply address it to Human Resources.  They will then forward it to the correct party.

If you don't have a contact name then put Human Resources. But I would call to confirm they got the fax later in the day or the next day.
