social security to claim what line on that 1040x form do i put the amount of the social security total?

  1. You'd only use form 1040X if you already filed a tax return but left off the SSDI.  It doesn't sound like that's the case, so you just need to file a return on a 1040A


  2. You *don't* list the SSA-1099 benefit amount on any of the numbered lines.  You mention it on page 2 in the explanation section.

    I told you this the first time you posted that you needed to "fix" your 1040A.
