Question:

I am filling out the education section in my UCAS application but I do not know the exact specification.

On my certificates it does not say what exact specification it is.

I cannot get in contact with my old school as nobody would be in, plus I contacted them before school closed and they said it is on my certificates.

Example:

I did GCSE Geography with OCR, but there are so many to choose from, e.g. Geography A, B and so on.

What shall I do?

What happens if I list it as only "Geography" and same with the other subjects I have a problem finding?

  1. As far as I'm aware you don't need to put the specification on the UCAS form. Just put the subject and the grade. It had no problems whan I did this. UCAS and the qualifications boards will have your records on computer anyway so they'll check as a matter of course.
