  1. How successful you will be in your job search depends on what your BS is in, do you have an related work experience or are you just a new grad.  New Grad w/BS in say Business Administration will be tough, employers want exp - so you will need to get a lower or entry level job and work your way up.  Post your resume on job boards, check the paper - some companies still only post jobs that way, search out places your interested in mail your resume w/cover letter, or apply at the company on-line.  Check w/your school to see if they help there students find jobs, see if your school you graduated from has any jobs you can do, network through friends and family. Set up job searches on major job boards as well as job boards that specialize in your field, and keep applying, you can even apply at a temp agency, the do have temp to perm positions or you can use the temp job to get your foot in the door w/an employer and build up some work experience.  Make sure you have a good resume that sells you and apply for position you are qualified for, you may need to expand your search criteria if your work exp in your field is limited, don't be afraid to start out lower and work your way up, look to hire w/companies that have job advancement opportunities, be willing to travel further to a job if that means you can get the one your looking for. Just keep apply all over - and track where you apply so your not applying to the same place over and over again.

  2. What can you *do*? What skills do you have? What experience do you have? What's your BS in? What kind of work do you want to do?

We need a lot more information than you've provided in order to provide advice. You can't just say, "Hey, I'm unemployed, I have a degree, where's my job?" You have to say what it is you can do, what kind of job you are looking for, and qualities you have that make you marketable.

  3. B.S. in what?  Kind of hard to give you an educated answer when you don't give all the necessary information.
