I am fixing to redo my 7 yr olds bedroom, we live in a trailer and i am going to prime in kilz primer,?

think of just white walls and posters she is fine with that but should i do off white, and what color do i paint the shelves in the room, i need so much help!!

I would just stick to basic white (that you can actually buy pre-mixed at Walmart) for the walls like you've mentioned since you are doing fun colors with the posters.  I would go all out with the shelves color-wise - let her choose a bright, fun color - I've even done shelves black before and put items/decorations to light them up inside and it looked awesome.  Maybe if she chose the shelving color - she will feel more involved and love her newly designed room even better!  

Ikea always has some great pictures in their catalogs for kids' spaces - and you can take their ideas and use them :)

I'd do white because it will open up the space more and make it seem brighter. Take her to the paint store and look at the colors. Pick a color she wants on the shelves. Use latex paint (water based) so that you can re-paint them in a few years. I thought my daughter would be happy with her room A LOT longer than she was. So now I am in the pink and green room because I used oil based paint and didn't want to repaint it. :) Besides, I like pink and green - but she has graduated to purple! :)

I like Zinser 123 primer better but the color is up to you and daughter. I would let her pick the color.

WALMART ALSO SELL KITZ IN SIMI GLOSS IN COLORS, ITS THE SAME KILZ BUT ABOUT $11.00 A GALLON AND IS WASHABLE , MANY BRIGHT COLORS, LET YOUR DAUGHTER PICK OUT WHAT COLORS SHE LIKE AND PAIN 2 OR MORE WALL CONTRASTING COLORS. KILTS COVERS WALLS VERY WELL AND LAST AND DOES NOT WASH OFF IF YOU HAVE TO LEAN WALLS, IT COMES IN WATER BASE LATEX FOR EASY CLEAN UP AND YOU CAN CHANGE THE COLORS AS SHE CHANGES . USE BLUE TAPE AND MEASURE WALLS 1/2 DOWN AND PAINT LIGHT COLOR AT TOP AND DARKER COLORS ON BOTTOM. IT IS LET EXPENSIVE THAN LOWES OR HOPE DEPOT AND THAT HAVE LOAD OF COLORS.
