I am flying from Cork- Amsterdam-Detroit-Tampa. Will my luggage be transfered for me?

Will I have to collect my luggage each time. Im on a one way ticket into the USA with a Visa, Will customs stop me?

Your luggage will be transfered for you, and depending on the luck of the draw, it might even end up at the same place as you do. Customs will stop you at your first landing in any new country, unless you just get parked in the transit lounge and can't get out among the real people. Enjoy your travel experience.
