I am flying to dallas soon (with a 20 month old). i am bringing some gifts...?

tubes of hand cream from bath & body works. is it ok for me to have them in my checked luggage? everything i read says things have to be in a 3oz. container or smaller but this is a gift & is like 8 oz.! what do i do?

It'll have to be checked. All you can have in your carry on for that type of thing is 3 oz bottles or less and they have to fit in a 1 qt. bag, but you can take as much as you'd like in checked luggage as long as it's properly packaged and they can be reasonably sure it wont break and get on other peoples things

But checked for sure is fine, that limit is only for carry on luggage

they said in you luggage no in you carry on You can pack anything more that 3 oz you want in your check-in luggage.
