I am forty years old, never married, no children and deceased parents.?

I also have no siblings. Is there anyone out there in my situation and if so how do you cope as one gets older in life with no one there for you? I do work but have never made close friends just acquaintances.

well if you want a child try adoption it does not have to be a baby it could be an older child if you dont want a child try to join a club

well, there is your problem, get out there and make a friend or two.  

join a club that intrests you or something similar.

Volunteer at an old folks home and talk to the people that dont have anyone either. It will make you both feel better plus its good karma.
