I am from Lebanon and i will be working in Riyadh soon..how much time do i need to get a driving license there

If i get an international driving license permit from my country..would i be able to use so i can rent or buy a car?

Dude I'm a Saudi and I can promise you, you wouldn't find a country that driving license can be had as easy as its here in Saudi.

If you know how to park your car parallelly, you'd pass the test since they judge you upon the way you park mostly. And they'd ask you about road signs that you would be memorizing before the test.

Its way too easy that it'd make sense why Saudi Arabia holds records for being one of the highest road kills rate in the world.

u will only b able to use ur international license only if u hve tourist visa

First u can get Iqama (Resitensial permit) after 15 days u can get driving license. Depents upon your company (Sponsor)

I`ll answer the second part first, no you cannot rent or buy a car using an international license. However, it would help getting the local license easier if u show ur int. license. The process shouldn`t take more than two days.

i think your company will provide you with a driver. my partner is lebanese, and is also working in saudi, in riyadh . . he has a driver when he goes anywhere. ill ask him for you if you like.
