I assume that you have actually applied to immigrate to Quebec. Otherwise, you can't just announce that you're moving to Quebec. Immigrating to Canada is a very difficult and drawn out process. You can't just show up at the border and waltz on in. You will be turned back.

Customs? Quebeckers are polite and, despite what you may have heard, many of them speak English. Montreal is especially tourist friendly.

Weather? It's hot and humid in the summer, cool, sunny and colourful in the autumn, cold, snowy and blustery in the winter and wet, chilly and green in the spring.
